What's So Cool About Manufacturing Competition

manufacturing students

A group of Canonsburg Middle School students, (Michael, Bode, Caleb, Nathan, Ben, Cole, and Dawson) participated in the "What's So Cool About Manufacturing?" video competition.  This research project brings together the brightest mind of tomorrow's workforce with local manufacturers to engage in hands-on, real-world innovation projects. Our team of middle school students, working as outside consultants, developed a solution to the company's challenge in the classroom and then present it to the company.  During a six-week time span, students worked on storyboarding, filming, editing and marketing their video.  Canonsburg Middle School received the 2nd place for the " Best Manufacturing Message"  the most prestigious award category of the night.    The group was sponsored by Ms. Moniodes, Gifted Support Teacher.
