Dear Canon-McMillan Parents/Guardians:
We are excited to share with you our updated report card process. Feedback from
parents, teachers, and administrators helped guide us to our updated report card
format and delivery system.
As a result, our Technology Department will be rolling out a new report card system for
the Q3 report cards on March 29th. The new system allows the District to send an
individualized report card directly to your email. Parents will receive a report card email
for each child, and students will also receive the same report card sent to their school
email account. At that point, you can save the report card to your phone/computer
and/or print a hard copy.
In addition, you will have the ability to go into your child’s PowerSchool account and
print report cards at any time from this point forward. The report cards will be archived
for easy access.
In the future, we plan to roll out other report forms in this same format (i.e. progress
reports, attendance letters, field trip permission forms, etc.). We will see how Q3 rolls
out and we will make adjustments as necessary.
Sincerely,
Greg Taranto, Ph.D.
