Thank you so much to Physical Education teacher Mr. Crago for bringing the Kids Heart Challenge to Muse Elementary. Muse Elementary got to experience a fantastic group of jump ropers from the Kids Heart Challenge and through the American Heart Association.

They also learned about ways that they can keep themselves healthy through exercise and by drinking lots of water and how they can help kids like Alexa. But perhaps the most exciting part for them was seeing some very cool jump roping tricks, like jump roping on pogo sticks (pictured), that they can try on their own in their physical education classes.

According to the American Heart Association’s website,

”The Kids Heart Challenge is a fun and exciting event where your student learns about their heart while helping others by raising money for the American Heart Association. It prepares your child for success through physical and emotional well-being.”

February is the perfect month to start this challenge because it’s National Heart Month and of course it’s a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day as well! Feel free to stop by Muse Elementary’s website by clicking here to join them and help them support the cause!
