They are listed below in alphabetical order. The Homecoming Parade will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16th and the Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, September 17.
Ms. Anna Beachy,
Anna is the daughter of Justi and Dana Beachy of Canonsburg. She is a 2-year member of the National Art Society and serves as its treasurer. She is a 3-year member of the Latin Club and Ski Club. Anna is also a 2-year member of the Environmental Club. She has been ranked first on the Varsity Tennis Team since she was a freshman, played on the Tennis Team for all 4 years of high school, and served as captain for 3 years. Anna also volunteers to help with the Sunday School at her church. Upon graduation, Anna plans to attend Kent State to study Fashion Merchandising.
Mr. Bode Dagen
Bode Dagen is the son of Allison and Michael Dagen of Canonsburg. He is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as Vice President of the senior class. Bode is also the Drumline Section Leader and the head of the Drama Set Construction Department. Bode is a 4-year member of the Big Mac Band and a 2-year member of the Computer Science Club, the Environmental Club, the Drama Club and the E-Sports Club. He has worked as an Instructor for the Intermediate Unit 1 Tech Camp for the past 4 years. Bode plans to attend West Virginia University to major in Computer Science.
Ms. Cassidy Dice,
Cassidy Dice is the daughter of Stephanie and Jason Dice of North Strabane. She is a 2-year member of the Environmental Club, and 1-year member of the Spanish Club and this is her first year in the Bowling Club. Cassidy has played Softball for 12 years and 8 of those years were with Travel Teams. Cassidy has been a 4-year member of the Big Mac Softball Team. She is a 2-year member of Varsity and has received her Varsity Letter. Cassidy volunteers with the Melanoma Society, Toys for Tots, the CM Youth Softball Organization, the Lasagna Club, Habitat for Humanity and is a certified Life Guard. Cassidy plans to attend Kent State to study Fashion Marketing.
Mr. Calvin Daniels,
Calvin Daniels is the son of Kelly Daniels and Glen Daniels of Canonsburg. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, and has served as Class President for 2 years. Calvin is a 4-year member of the Ski Club, a 3-year member of the Engineering Club and the Credit Union Club. He is a 2-year member of Student Council, the Spanish Club, and the Chess Club. Calvin has played Baseball for 12 years through Wolfpack, R.B.I. Redwings South Fayette, Gamechangers Baseball, and Armory Baseball. He has been a part of the Big Mac Basketball Program for 7 years. Calvin has volunteered with the Miracle League of South Hills and with the Bridges Kids Club for 8 years. He also volunteers with the Canonsburg Food Drive and had an Internship at Washington Area Credit Union. Calvin has not yet made a final decision on where he plans to attend college, but wants to pursue a career in Finance and has aspirations to play Baseball at the collegiate level.
Ms. Anna Kusturiss,
Anna Kusturiss is the daughter of Lindsay and Mikey Kusturiss of Eighty-Four. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has held Distinguished Honors for three years. Anna is a member of the Latin Club and the History Club. She has spent 11 years with the Dance Extension Performing Arts Center and 2 years playing Tennis. Anna is a member of GOYA at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church and works 2 jobs after school. Anna plans to attend Penn State to major in Pre-Law.
Mr. Kevin Kestner,
Kevin Kestner is the son of Lorna and Ken Kestner of North Strabane. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the International Thespian Society, and CM Cares. Kevin Serves as the Social Media Chair for SHOUT and as the Vice President for both the Drama Club and the Thespian Society. He is a 4-year member of the Drama Club and the Environmental Club. He is a 3-year member of the Chemistry Club and a 2-year member of SHOUT. Kevin has performed as Mr. Green in Clue and served as the Dance Captain for the Addams Family production. He will also perform for this year’s play: The Play That Goes Wrong as Chris and Inspector Carter. He has been dancing for 6 years and playing Tennis for 8 years. Kevin as volunteered for 6 years for Toys for Tots, Breakfast with Santa for 5 years, Set Construction for 4 years, and spent 3 years working on Beautification Projects in the Community. Kevin has also spent a year volunteering at the Pumpkin Festival. Upon graduation, Kevin plans to attend Kent State to study Political Science and Criminology.
Ms. Melanie Lewis,
Melanie Lewis is the daughter of Teresa and Ed Lewis of Canonsburg. She has held Distinguished and High Honors throughout her high school career and as inducted into the Spanish National Honor Society. She is a 3-year member of the Spanish Club and a 2-year member of the Future Medical Professional Club. Melanie was a gymnast from Gym Dandys from the time she was a toddler until the 8th grade, qualifying for Regional Championships for 2 years in a row. She was a 2-year member of the Big Mac Volleyball Team and played Club Volleyball for 2 years. Melanie worked with the Olivia Scott Foundation throughout high school. She also works at T.J. Maxx and at the Kickstand, and participated in the Relay for Life for 2 years in a row. Melanie plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to major in Physical Therapy.
Mr. Samuel Mascara,
Sam Mascara is the son of Lisa and Mark Mascara and the step-son of T.J. Gentile of Canonsburg. Sam is a 2-year member of the Ski Club. He is a CM Student Section Leader, a Lead CM Mentor, and manager of the Wrestling Team. He has played soccer for 8 years and for 2 years of Club Soccer. Sam also works at Kickstand Ice Cream Shop and at Salt of the Earth for 2 years, and at Fiori’s for 5 months. He has spent 5 years working with the Heart Association, has volunteered to coach and referee youth soccer camps and works with the Presbyterian Senior Care Center in their Alzheimer’s Unit. After graduation, Sam plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study Law.
Ms. Callie Rose,
Callie Rose is the daughter of Cindy and Roger Rose of Canonsburg. She is a member of the National Honor Society and a 2-year member of both the Environmental Club and the Spanish Club. Callie spent 9 years with the Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey Team and has volunteered since he was 8 years old with the Variety Children’s Charity and Elks Home Service Programs. She has also volunteered for 5 years on Thanksgiving to make meals for the elderly with the National Guard Armory. Callie is planning on attending either Geneva College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, or California University to study Communications.
Mr. Luke Ross,
Luke Ross is the son of Theresa and Ken Ross of Canonsburg. He is a member of the National Honor Society and has maintained High Honor Roll for all 4 years of high school. Luke is a 4-year member of the Ski Club and previously served as the Vice President of Student Council. He has spent 7 years playing Football. 3 of those years with the Big Mac Football Team. Luke also actively volunteers at Saint Benedict’s Catholic Church. After graduation, Luke plans to attend Penn State University to study Criminology.
Ms. Laurel Williams,
Laurel is the daughter of Jennifer and Darren Williams of Canonsburg. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the French Honor Society, the Thespian Society, and PMEA District and Regional Choir. Laurel has served as both the Vice President and Secretary of the Big Mac Marching Band for 4 years. She is a 4-year member of the Drama Club, a 3-year member of the French Club and Bella Voce, a 2-year member of the Best Buddies Club, No Place for Hate, Dolce Armonia, and SHOUT where she serves as co-chair. Laurel has also been involved with Mock Trial for 1 year. She teaches children with special needs at the Bible Chapel for the last 6 years and started mentoring 6th grade students. Laurel plans to attend West Virginia University to study Early and Special Education.
Mr. Kade Street,
Kade Street is the son of the late Lisa and Doug Street of Canonsburg. He has been an Honor Student for 4 years, was inducted into the Thespian Society, and recognized for PMEA District and Region Choir. Kade is a 4-year member of the Men’s Ensemble, the Drama Club, GSA, and involved in our plays and musicals. Kade is a 3-year member of SHOUT, Bella Voce, and a is a 2-year member of the Best Buddies Club. He has helped with the Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society for 9 years, in honor of his mother. Kade plans to attend Waynesburg College to study Early Childhood Education.
