Lilly Bane is a 10th grade student at CMHS. Lilly is the daughter of John and Joey Bane of Canonsburg. Lilly not only thrives in school academically but on the field playing the game she loves. Lilly plays soccer for Beadling Soccer club and also plays soccer for her high school, but she has also found a passion for Futsal and plays for Pittsburgh Assassins Futsal Club. Futsal is a form of soccer played on a hard court indoors, its 5v5 small sided game with a smaller ball than a regulation soccer ball.
This summer Lilly traveled to VA where she went through two days of trials and got picked to advance to the final round in Kansas City. Lilly went through several rounds of national ID trials there and later received the news she was picked to represent our country. Lilly accepted the offer and is now a member of the US Youth Futsal International Team and will play in Lisban Portugal from December 27 2022 to January 4th 2023.
