As a school community, we believe that it is important to demonstrate our gratitude and appreciation for the veterans that have protected and served our country. We express our utmost thanks and gratitude to all of our veterans, especially those connected to us at Borland Manor Elementary School.

Borland Manor Elementary School Wreaths Across America Community Service Project:
On December 17 at 12 o'clock noon, families are invited to participate in the wreath laying ceremony at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. We value this community service endeavor for the rich teaching opportunities in giving back to the community:
REMEMBER our fallen U.S. Veterans.
HONOR those who serve.
TEACH your children the value of freedom.
In partnership with our local team, the Red-White-Blue Team, we help to raise money for the Cemetery of the Alleghenies (Cecil, Pennsylvania) to be able to place a wreath on every veteran's grave on the national Wreaths Across America Day.
This program is registered as a 501(c) charitable group. The cost of one wreath is $15.00, but for every 2 wreaths that our team sells, we get one for free.
Our goal is to have every veteran interned at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies to have a wreath for the holidays.
To make a donation and go directly to our group page, please use the link below. You can go on-line to the Wreaths Across America site and click on sponsor a wreath with a local group. Our group is the PA0108 Red-White-Blue Team. Location PANCAB (Cemetery of the Alleghenies). Please find the Wreaths Across America RED- WHITE- BLUE TEAM link here
We thank you for your support and thank our veterans.
