“Zoo in the Classroom" is a program that Mrs. Geist, AP Environmental Science, Environmental Science and Zoology teacher at Canon-McMillan High School, developed where her high school students teach second graders throughout the district about the animals in her classroom. Second graders from South Central Elementary got to experience it yesterday morning. Second graders from the other elementary schools will follow throughout the month of November, Mrs. Geist even created a virtual experience for any second graders that could not attend and posted it to YouTube.
