Fourth grade students from Hills-Hendersonville Elementary visited the Carnegie Science Center to experience the celebration of the third birthday of the United States Space Force. There they got to interact with a variety of vendors showing a variety of STEM based ideas. During the ceremony they were introduced to Vice Chief of Space Operation, United States Space Force, General David D. Thompson, who went into detail about the latest and up and coming plans for space. The students were toured around the Science Center by men and women from the United States Air Force who also gave them insight on their job and what it was like. The students had a very enjoyable day and got a new insight on what is happening and what the future holds for space exploration.
