Canon-McMillan's Elementary Schools Celebrated the 100th and 101st Days of School on February 1st and 2nd this year. All of them had different activities planned for students around the 100th and 101st themes.
At South Central Elementary, for example, Mrs. Kuhn's Kindergarten Kids counted 100 items and brought their items to present to the class. The students did a great job of presenting their items in their own special way such as decorating shirts, using building materials, using canvas or poster board the list went on. Mrs. Kuhn is proud of the kids and their hard work counting by ones to 100!
Students at Borland Manor Elementary took pictures and played games to celebrate the 100th day of school. At the end of the day, everyone participated in a school-wide bingo, where they were allowed to yell Bingo! in the hallways, much to their delight!
Many students and staff throughout all buildings dressed like they were 100 on the 100th day of school and dressed as dalmations for the 101st day. Principal Balch at Wylanville Elementary even dressed as Cruella De Vil!
Congratulations to all of our schools on the 100th and 101st days of school, all students are 100 days smarter! Click through the photo album below for photos from all of our Elementary Buildings on these exciting days!
