Washington Wild Thing Visited Wylandville Elementary

The Washington Wild Things and McClellands Contracting & Roofing developed a jersey design contest to raise money for Beverley's Birthdays.  Local schools have been invited to participate by creating specialty jersey designs that will be sold for the cause.  The winner will throw the first pitch at the August 5th game as part of the "City of Giving Night".  

Washington Wild Thing visited Wylandville Elementary on Friday, Feb. 24th to bounce around the indoor recess rooms to get the kids excited for the contest.  He signed different things for the kids, gave out hugs and even danced with some of the students. Hills-Hendersonville Elementary is also participating and the Wild Thing already visited their school last month.
