Spring into action by donating your excess spring cleaning clutter! The Canon-McMillan High School National Honor Society and Student Council will be partnering to host a clothing drive. Canon-McMillan students, as well as the greater Canon-McMillan community, can donate: gently used clothing, shoes, purses, and accessories for women, men, and children,
Home goods: linens, artwork, framed mirrors, baskets, decorative items, Furniture: couches, chairs, love seats, tables and chairs, nightstands, dressers, Toys and Games, Media: records, compact discs, DVDs, Books, Textbooks, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Small Appliances in working order: Toasters, Microwaves, Dorm Refrigerators, Mixers. All donations will be given to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a local, non-profit organization.
How to Donate:
For the community: Join us on March 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Canon-McMillan High School for a drive-thru drop-off.
For students: Bring clothing donations to the school and drop them off at either the student entrance any day from 3/15 - 2/14:.
- The two participating classes with the most donations will receive a breakfast courtesy of the National Honor Society and student council.
- All participating students will be eligible to request community service hours for donating.
