Non-section Varsity Baseball Score: Canon-McMillan 9, Upper St. Clair 2
Austyn Winkleblech earned his first victory on the mound Thursday night in a 9-2 Big Mac victory over Upper St. Clair. Winkleblech struck out six over six innings of work. Nine Big Macs recorded hits in the victory, with Andrew Kocan recording four and Tyson Mead and Ben Peterson chipping in with two a piece.
The Big Macs broke a 2-2 tie in the top of the 6th inning by scoring five runs on four straight hits by Mead, Peterson, Kocan, and Mason Fixx.
Kocan was 4-4 with 2 RBIs, Mead was 2-4 with 2 RBI's, and Peterson was 2-4 with 2 RBIs. Fixx and Cam Russell drove in the other runs for the Big Macs.
