(Pictured: Principal Theodore reading to Muse Elementary first graders.)
Muse first grade had two more guests to read books for their book bracket! Officer Brose read the book, "Rhyme Crime" last week and Mr. Theodore read the book, "Let's Go For A Drive" recently! Both books were voted by the kids to move on to the next round! Ms. Wemyss says they can't wait to see who will come read next week!

First Graders at Muse Elementary are participating in a "March Madness" reading event to make reading fun. They created brackets similar to the basketball games but the competitors are books. Two books are read to the class and they determine which one the students like best. The winner moves through the brackets (Elite 8, Final Four, and Final) to determine a winner. Assistant to the Superintendent/Director of Curriculum and Instruction for K-6 Dr. Taranto, Principal Dziak and reading specialist Mrs. Buhman have read so far (all pictured below.)
