The Track and Field Teams are off to some record breaking starts.
The girls team defeated Trinity on March 30 and Pine Richland on April 5.
In the Pine Richland meet Rose Kuchera, Bennett Pidro, Allie West, Elisabeth Franczyk, Maggie Clair, and all three relay teams had first place finishes.
Rose broke two school records as well. She set a new long jump record of 19 feet 3 inches and a new triple jump record of 39 feet 5.5 inches.
The boys defeated Trinity but lost to Pine Richland. Colton Dean, Isaiah Hicks, Jake Egizio, and Tyler Armstead had first place finishes. The 4x800 relay team of Votosian, Strohecker, Kazakewicz, and Bedner also placed first.
The teams continue section competitions this Thursday, April 13 at West Allegheny.
