It has come to our attention that the Canon-McMillan School District logo was included on a recent mailing offering support for local candidates campaigning for political positions, including several open seats for Canon-McMillan Board of School Director. Please know, although the logo was included, the Canon-McMillan School District does not endorse political candidates and did not provide consent for the use of our logo in the distribution of those mailings. In fact, the use of our logo in this regard is a direct violation of School District Policy # 916 - Use of District Name, Nicknames, Color, Insignia or Logos.
