Having 36 athletes qualify for the individual track and field championships is an awesome accomplishment. What they did when they got there was incredible!
15 of those athletes won 24 medals including 6 championships, 3 runner-ups,
6 bronze medals. 8 individuals and two relay teams earned a trip to next week's state championship meet at Shippensburg University!

Rose Kuchera won 4 gold medals herself by winning the triple jump, long jump, high hurdles, and joining Bennett Pidro, Abby Mitrik, and Bryce Dean to win the 4 x100 relay with a new school record of 48.0 seconds.

Bennett Pidro won gold in the relay, bronze in the 100 and 4th in the 200 to earn 3 events at states.

Maggie Clair is going to states with a silver in the shot put.

Jade Viscardi made states by placing 4th in the javelin throw.

Bryce Dean and Abby Mitrik also won gold medals on the championship relay team.

The boys won several medals as well.
Colton Dean won the 200 meter dash, placed 2nd in the 300 hurdles and 3rd in the long jump. Colton will run all three events at the state meet next week.

Austyn Wlinkleblech made states with a silver medal in the 100 meter dash.
