In honor of National Police Week last week (Sun, May 14, 2023 - Sat, May 20, 2023) South Central Elementary had Canonsburg Police officers visit students during lunches on Tuesday, May 23rd. They did a school wide community service project for this. The students and staff brought in many protein bars, granola bars, crackers, beef jerky, Slim Jims, candy and other snacks and drinks to present to the police during their visit. Some classes also made cards/letters, etc. for the officers. What a great way to thank the officers for keeping our students and staff safe!
