The Boys' track and field team won the section title by defeating South Fayette 85 to 61 and Chartiers Valley 76 to 70. The boys' team record is now 6-0 with two Invitational runner-up awards and a section championship! They will defend their Washington-Greene County Championship this Saturday at Peters Township and then compete in the WPIAL semi-final meet next Tuesday.
The Girls' track team finishes as the section runner-up!
The Girls' track and field team battled South Fayette for the section title on Wednesday but fell short losing 65 to 85. The Girls also won big over Chartiers Valley 116 to 34 to secure second place in the section.
The Big Mac Ladies are now 5-1 with one Invitational championship and 1 Invitational runner-up award. They will compete in the WPIAL semi-final next Tuesday.
This Saturday they will defend their Washington-Greene County Championship in an exciting meet at Peters Township stadium.
