Dear Canon-McMillan School District Parents/Guardians and Staff,
During the past week there have been thirty-two positive COVID-19 cases in the Canon-McMillan School District including:

four staff members and seven students from Canon-McMillan High School,

one staff member and one student from Borland Manor,

two students from South Central Elementary,

one student from Hills-Hendersonville Elementary,
-
two staff members and five students from Muse Elementary,

two staff members and five students from Canonsburg Middle School,

one student from Cecil Intermediate School,
-
one student from Wylandville Elementary,
Please note, if a school is not listed above then it had zero cases for the week.
As a reminder, if your child is experiencing signs and symptoms of COVID-19 do not send them to school. If someone in the home is suspected of having COVID-19, been in contact with someone with COVID-19, or has tested positive for COVID-19 contact the school nurse before sending your child to school. For your convenience and information, the Canon-McMillan School District Screening Tool and a COVID-19 tracker of all positive cases in the district can be accessed on our website, cmsd.k12.pa.us in the Coronavirus Update Center. It provides details on signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
As per the PA Department of Health, the last day for reporting case numbers for the 2021-2022 academic year is Friday, June 10. After June 10, schools do not need to report COVID-19 case numbers to DOH during the summer months. DOH will notify schools of changes or updates to the reporting process, as necessary.
