As an A-TSI designated school, Canon-McMillan High School has applied for and is awaiting approval of an ARP ESSER A-TSI Set Aside grant that will provide our High School with up to $53,264.00

We met with key stakeholders, as part of the process of developing our plan for the 2022-2023 school, to determine the best use for these funds.  After careful consideration of our students' needs, we have determined that we will allocate the funding, if awarded, to our summer school credit recovery program and our CHILL room (Social Emotional Learning).

We have asked to receive and allocate $14,074 towards our 2023 summer school credit recovery program.  This funding will help ensure that our credit recovery program remains free for the 2023 summer as we continue to help students remediate and recover credits from the pandemic.

We have also requested to receive and allocate $39,190 to help fund and pay for the Allegheny Health Network to provide a staff member for our CHILL room.
