Management of Canon McMillan’s facilities is a very extensive responsibility.  The array of buildings, equipment, and grounds is spread across the entire school district at nine primary locations, up to twelve miles apart.  The maintenance and repair effort is centered at the Support Building.  The Facilities Department office is located in the Support Building at 186 Boone Ave. Strabane, PA 15363.

To handle the tasks described above, the department has Sixty-Four (64) employees.  These are organized into two primary groups, custodians and maintenance persons.  The custodial group is made up of Fifty-Five (55) custodians. The maintenance department consists of Nine (9) regular maintenance staff. The department is managed by Mr. Jurdon Maier Director of Facilities.

• One Lighted Stadium With Track And Artificial Turf

• 4 Tennis Courts(High School Location)

• Total District Property Managed - 160 Acres

• Maintained Grounds Totaling Approximately 125 Acres

• One Remote Site McDowell fields, Totaling Approximately 50 Acres

• 26 Heating Boilers

• 43 Rooftop HVAC Units

• 22 Chillers

• 23 Acres of Roofs

• 15+ Acres of Paved Parking Lots
