Buildings & Grounds

Management of Canon McMillan’s facilities is a very extensive responsibility.  The array of buildings, equipment, and grounds is spread across the entire school district at nine primary locations, up to twelve miles apart.  The maintenance and repair effort is centered at the Support Building.  The Facilities Department office is located in the Support Building at 186 Boone Ave. Strabane, PA 15363.

The department has 64 employees.  These are organized into two primary groups: custodians and maintenance persons.  The custodial group is made up of 55 custodians. The maintenance department consists of 9 regular maintenance staff. The department is managed by Mr. Jurdon Maier, Director of Facilities.
