Academics

At the Canon-McMillan School District, we take pride in putting academics first. Year after year, our students shine, outperforming state averages in both math and reading tests. Our elementary students set a strong foundation, with 81% testing at or above the proficient level for reading and 71% achieving the same benchmarks in math. 

The trend continues with 80% of our middle school students excelling in reading and 59% in math. By the time they reach high school, 80% are still surpassing the proficient mark in reading, while 68% do so in math.
