In grades K-4, students develop a strong foundation in mathematics through enVision+ Mathematics, a comprehensive program designed to help students understand mathematics, build fluency, and become confident problem-solvers.
enVision+ emphasizes conceptual understanding before procedures. Through explicit teacher-led instruction, visual models, hands-on learning with manipulatives, meaningful discussions, and purposeful practice, students learn not only how to solve problems but also “why” mathematical strategies work.
Teachers use an “I Do, We Do, You Do” approach to model concepts and provide guided practice before students apply their newly learned skills independently
Throughout grades K-4, students build skills in number sense, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions, measurement, data, geometry and mathematical problem-solving. Throughout the year, regular practice with basic math facts will be provided daily to prepare students to solve more complex math problems as they progress through the grade levels.
