Student Registration

Welcome to the Canon-McMillan School District!

This is an exciting time for both you and your child, and we ensure that your child's transition into our district will be smooth and hassle-free! We look forward to you and your child becoming a part of the Canon-McMillan family.

25-26 Online Registration

Canon-McMillan School District is now accepting K-12 registrations for the 2025-2026 school year. The District uses an online registration system, PowerSchool Enrollment, for new students enrolling in the District. All registration forms are completed electronically and supporting documents (student identification, two proofs of residency and immunization records) are uploaded directly into the District's student information system. 

Please note that your child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2025, to enroll for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Registration Steps

The online registration process requires a computer, internet access and the ability to scan or photograph documents. We recommend you scan and save or take a photo of each document electronically prior to starting the application. You will need to upload the following documents when enrolling online:

• Original birth certificate
• Immunization record: a physician's statement/record of immunizations. See school immunization requirements here.
• Two proofs of residency: acceptable documents include a 
  • Current lease agreement, mortgage statement or deed
  • Any current home utility bill, renter's or homeowner's insurance, property or school taxes.

*You must provide the full page of the bill/statement. Both proofs of residency must include a parent/guardian name. A drivers license cannot be used as proof of residency.

When you are ready to begin the process, click the K-12 Registration 2025-2026 School Year link below. You will create a PowerSchool Enrollment account first, then follow the prompts and instructions to move through the electronic application. If you cannot complete the registration process all at once, you may save your progress and log back in to continue where you left off. Be sure to submit all required information and requested documentation.

Once all documents have been approved, you will receive an email within 3-5 days from PowerSchool. This email will indicate that your child's registration has been approved or if additional documentation is needed.
